What is the B.C.I. & V.S. Alumni Foundation?

It is a non-profit charitable Foundation established in 2003 to receive and maintain funds for charitable purposes of an educational nature with respect to B.C.I. & V.S.

What type of Projects, Programs or Educational Assistance Can the Foundation Provide?
It may award scholarships, fellowships, bursaries, prizes or other financial assistance to B.C.I. & V.S. students through requests from the Principal.  It can help preserve the historic heritage of the school by maintaining and preserving 120 Brant Avenue, Brantford as a functioning, full service educational facility.  It celebrates the historical contribution of B.C.I. & V.S. by recognizing the outstanding International, National, Provincial and Local achievements of its students and staff.

Who Can Apply for Assistance or Funding for a Project?
The Principal, the Grand Erie District School Board (for something of benefit to the students and/or staff).  Students can also apply but through the Principal.

How Does the Foundation Get Its Funds?
From the support and generosity of former students and staff, interested and supportive individuals, groups, businesses and industries and from interest earned from its interest-generating capital.
Note: The Foundation has the ability to accept monetary, material and property gifts and bequests.
Donors can direct their gifts to specific projects or programs or designate their support to the endowment fund as interest-generating capital.

Are the Donations Tax Exempt?
Yes, all forms of donations and/or bequests are tax deductible.
